Katherine is a go-getter with a big heart. She has two projects–and both involve creating something and donating to a cause that she is passionate about. Her first project is working with a group of four girls to make bracelets. They want to sell the bracelets and donate the money to an organization that works to educate girls in other countries. For her individual project, she is making pillows to donate to Nationwide Children’s Hospital here in Columbus. She wants kids to be comfortable while they are in the hospital, so she thinks it is important to make sure they have pillows that are colorful, fun, and soft. As you can see to the left from some of the ones she has already made, her pillows are very pretty! She has submitted a grant proposal for the pillow cloth and stuffing. There will be lots of happy children–both here in Columbus and around the world–because of Katherine’s projects!
